This Privacy Policy explains how Jevx collects, uses, and protects information when you use the jevx.org website and typed decision service.
The data controller is Jevx, operated as an individual sole proprietorship. For any privacy question, data request, or complaint, write to support@jevx.org. Who runs the service and which model providers process decision requests on its behalf is set out on the about page.
You give us:
We collect automatically:
We use information to run decision requests, manage credits, process payments, prevent abuse and prohibited content, improve reliability, respond to support requests, and comply with the law.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number, expiry, and security code are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and are never stored on Jevx's servers — we only receive the outcome of the transaction and a masked reference for your billing history.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes.
We share the minimum necessary information with the following processors:
| Provider | Role | Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing | stripe.com/privacy |
| Vercel | Application hosting | vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy |
| Cloudflare | DNS, CDN, and R2 file storage | cloudflare.com/privacypolicy |
| Resend | Transactional and verification email | resend.com/legal/privacy-policy |
| Sign-in, Analytics (GA4), and AdSense advertising | policies.google.com/privacy | |
| GitHub | Sign-in | docs.github.com/privacy |
| Microsoft Clarity | Product analytics and session replay | privacy.microsoft.com |
| OpenRouter | AI model routing | openrouter.ai/privacy |
| TypeSafe AI | Model inference (the Jev model) | typesafe.ai |
For a decision request, the state, questions, and criteria you submit are sent to OpenRouter, which routes them to TypeSafe AI, the vendor of the Jev model. Your content is not used to train Jevx's models.
Some pages show ads served by Google AdSense, which may set cookies to measure and personalize advertising. You can manage this at Google Ads Settings or opt out industry-wide at youradchoices.com. Microsoft Clarity records anonymized interaction data and session replays to help us find usability problems. Our general site analytics run on our own self-hosted instance, served from this domain — that traffic data is not shared with a third-party analytics vendor.
Jevx and its providers operate globally, so your information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Where data leaves the EEA or the UK, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent approved safeguard put in place by the provider.
| Data | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Account information | For as long as your account is open, then deleted within 30 days of account deletion |
| States, criteria, and typed answers | Up to 12 months from creation, or within 30 days of account deletion if that comes first; you can delete individual decision records at any time |
| Billing and transaction records | Up to 7 years, as required by tax and accounting law |
| Server and security logs | Up to 12 months |
| Support correspondence | Up to 24 months |
After these periods, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymized for aggregate statistics.
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
Write to support@jevx.org and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Service emails — verification, receipts, renewal reminders, and security notices — are essential to your account and cannot be switched off while the account is open. Any marketing or product-update email is separate and carries a one-click unsubscribe link in every message; unsubscribing there never affects service emails.
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encryption at rest for stored files, access controls, and least-privilege credentials to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and, where required, the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of it.
Jevx is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can delete it.
We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date at least 15 days before they take effect, and notified by email where the change materially affects your rights.
